Lash Artistry, Not a One-Style Formula
Two clients can request the same style and require completely different applications. Eye shape, eyelid structure, natural lash density, lash direction and facial proportions all influence the final design.
During your consultation, your Wink artist considers:
We then customize the lengths, curls, diameters, colors, fan sizes, density and placement throughout the lash line. The result is not merely “classic,” “hybrid” or “volume.” It is your lash design.
Eyelash Extension Styles at Wink
Classic Lash Extensions
One extension is applied to one suitable natural lash to create clean definition and an elegant mascara-like effect. Classic lashes are ideal for clients with a healthy natural lash line who want additional length and polish without substantial fullness.
Hybrid Lash Extensions
Hybrid sets blend individual classic extensions with handmade volume fans. The combination adds texture and dimension while maintaining softness. Hybrid lashes can be styled naturally or with more visible definition depending on your features and preferences.
Natural Volume Lash Extensions
Natural volume uses lightweight handmade fans to create soft fullness without a heavy or overly dark appearance. This option is excellent for clients with sparse areas, uneven density or naturally fine lashes who want a balanced lash line.
Glam Volume Lash Extensions
Glam Volume creates richer density and a darker, more noticeable lash line while preserving softness and balance. Lightweight handmade fans are layered and placed to complement the eyes rather than overwhelm them. This option is ideal for clients who want clearly glamorous lashes without choosing the maximum density of a mega-volume set.
Mega-Volume Lash Extensions
Mega Volume creates Wink’s fullest and most dramatic lash look using ultra-fine extensions formed into precise handmade fans. The number of extensions in a fan is only one part of the design. Diameter, fan width, total weight, placement and the health of each natural lash determine what can be applied responsibly.
Mega Volume can be dark and dense or dimensional and textured, depending on the requested style and the natural lashes. Maximum fullness should never mean careless weight.
Brown Lash Extensions
Brown extensions create softer contrast than traditional black lashes. They are especially flattering for blondes, redheads, clients with lighter features, mature clients and anyone seeking a refined, natural-looking enhancement. Brown tones can also be mixed with black or other shades to create depth without harshness.
Wispy, Textured and Signature Styling
Spikes, layers, varied lengths and directional styling can create an airy, wispy or editorial effect. Your artist will determine whether the requested texture is compatible with your natural lashes and daily maintenance preferences.
Advanced Styling for Difficult Natural Lashes
Straight, downward-growing, curly, crossed, sparse or uneven natural lashes require more than a standard lash map. Wink artists are experienced in adapting curl, direction, weight and placement to visually balance challenging growth patterns.
We also work thoughtfully with clients whose lash density or direction has changed over time. Each natural lash is assessed individually, and the design is adjusted to what the lash line can safely and attractively support on the day of service.
We will always prioritize an honest recommendation over applying a style that is unsuitable for the natural lashes.
Your First Eyelash Extension Appointment
Full-set appointments vary in length depending on the design, natural lash line and artist. Please allow adequate time for detailed work and arrive without eye makeup.
Lash Fills and Ongoing Maintenance
Natural lashes grow and shed continuously, taking attached extensions with them. Most clients schedule fills approximately every two to three weeks to restore density and rebalance the design.
A fill is maintenance for an existing set, not a discounted full set. The service needed is determined by the time and work required, the condition of the remaining extensions and how much regrowth or shedding has occurred. If very few extensions remain, additional time or a full set may be necessary.
Consistent appointments and proper home care help maintain a polished result and make it easier for your artist to preserve the intended design.
Eyelash Extension Aftercare
For the best comfort, cleanliness and retention:
Retention varies with the natural lash cycle, skincare, medications, hormones, environment, sleep habits and home care. No studio can stop natural shedding, but careful application and consistent maintenance support the best possible wear.
Eyelash Extensions From Another Studio
Wink welcomes clients who currently have eyelash extensions from another studio. At the beginning of your appointment, your artist will assess the remaining extensions, natural lashes, isolation, adhesive, weight, direction and overall condition.
When the existing work is healthy and compatible with your desired result, we can perform a transfer fill and begin refining the design. Depending on what is present, your artist may instead recommend a corrective fill, partial removal or a fresh full set. The recommendation will be based on what gives you the safest, cleanest and most beautiful result.
Contact us before booking when possible so we can reserve the appropriate amount of time. We will explain the options and pricing before beginning additional work.
